“ We had a delightful dinner date here! The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet. The highlight of our evening was undoubtedly the crispy rice with tuna—absolutely outstanding! The ramen, served with chicken thighs, was incredibly flavorful and delicious, was on the spicy side. However, the king lobster taco was just okay and not something we would order again. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. Thank you! ”
“ We have been to Atlas Izakaya twice now and have had wonderful experiences both times! The first visit was in July and the restaurant was super busy but service by Amy was wonderful. The prices for bottles of wine are very reasonable. We split several dishes and truly loved everything. Standouts were the hot mustard tuna cones, the crispy rice with salmon and the hot karagee buns. This second time we went we sat at the bar and had Allison. Again, every dish we ordered was incredible. Our favorites this time were the king crab tacos, the local catch yakitori, the pork belly buns and the steamed pork dumplings. The grandma's hug dessert was also delicious! For the two of us, we were completely full after splitting 7 small plates and dessert. Honestly, we definitely could have had fewer dishes (both times lol) and still been full but everything sounded so good :) We can't wait to go back when we return to Key West. ”
“ Atlas Izakaya in Key West is a game-changer! The buns are amazing—the vegetable bun might even be my new favorite, so don’t sleep on it. And the sashimi? Absolutely next level. Everything is incredibly fresh and melts in your mouth like butter. They offer different fish daily, which keeps things exciting. One night I tried yellow jack, a fish I’ve never had before, and it was incredible. The tuna was just as perfect. Atlas Izakaya nails it every time—this place is a must-visit for fresh, innovative, and unforgettable dishes! ”
“ Atlas Izakaya in Key West is a standout! The owners are incredibly sweet, and the fun, trendy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a memorable night out. The food is outstanding—so fresh and thoughtfully prepared, you can taste the attention to detail in every bite. It reminds me of Uchi with its creative and elevated flavors, but with its own unique charm. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Key West! ”
“ EXQUISITE. Atlas Izakaya is a thoughtfully curated dining experience with a unique vibe to Key West. It's something I didn't expect. We enjoyed much across the menu: ceviche (fresh caught Red Snapper), pork belly buns, karaage buns, lobster roll buns, crispy tuna rice, crispy A5 wagyu beef dumplings, bok choy (a personal fav anywhere), and Shiokawa Yamahai Junmai Ginjo “Cowboy”. There is much to elaborate on about all of these plates and selection of beverages however, they are all worth trying for yourself. If you're unfamiliar with Japanese plates keep it exciting and do like we did, window shop. A few dishes went by and we ordered them along with other helpful recs from the chef and knowledgeable staff. Lastly, kudos to the staff for exceptional and thoughtful timing of food prep and delivery, it was a full house. Many people enjoying the experience at Atlas Izakaya. Thank you for the evening :) ”
“ A fantastic dinner at a small local business that is run by two amazing people. Our favorites include the tuna cones, the salmon crispy rice, the bbq eel, and the octopus skewers! Thanks! Keep up the great work. ”
“ OMFG, 100/5. It is absolutely amazing, the best fish we ever head, and the best food overall. The place doesn't look especially good from the outside, but don't be fooled! It's a hidden gem! It's hard to find the words. Most dishes are small, designed to share, so prepare to order numerous dishes. Everything is amazing quality. Everything. We went twice during our stay in Key West, and we would go again if we were here longer. Loved it. We tried the nigiri in different versions - for our two visits, we ordered it 4 times. We also tried beef, pork belly, yellowtail, and grouper yakitori - all amazing. On our first visit, the chef special was mashroom risotto and a yellowtail - absolutely amazing! On second, we tried some cauliflower, which blew our minds as well. The servers are a delight, both (sorry, I don't remember the names!) were very friendly and extremely helpful. Gluten free options are not marked, but you can check with the staff (personally, I'm ok with soy sauce but not much more, and I was able to eat a lot). Definitely a must go to. ”
“ Our favorite meal during our trip to Key West. Everything was fresh and a perfect balance of izakaya offerings with Key West flavors. We wished we ate here twice after some subpar dinners elsewhere. 10/10 definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back when we return to Key West ”
